Drip

The rain beats down in relentless torrents on the roof.
It finds its way through the ceiling.
To drip, drip, drip its way into the room below,
It sneaks through the floor boards, downwards ever down.
But where does it go, that drip, drip drip,
Making a puddle that grows and grows
And onward it goes, that drip, drip, drip.
