The dream I had, it frightened me.
There were visions I could clearly see.
They seemed to fill my brain
Like deep pools of fallen rain.
Voices fill my mind of people long dead
Filling me with thoughts of dread.
Rising panic compounding my fear
A sense of foreboding drawing near.
Fight or flight twangs in every muscle
Good and bad, thoughts begin to hustle.
Wake up sweating, heart is pounding
Touch the floor to find a grounding.
